KUCCPS Completes KMTC Student Placement: How to Check Status

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) stated on Saturday that the placement procedure for Kenya Medical and Training College (KMTC) students had been completed.

In a statement, KUCCPS directed candidates to verify their application progress on the official portal.

“Notice! “KUCCPS has completed processing applications for KMTC courses submitted beginning November 24, 2023, to fill limited vacancies,” the school said.

KUCCPS further stated that those who were not scheduled for placement would be considered if another chance arose.

This follows a complaint from one of the candidates about being unable to obtain his results despite logging onto the system.

In response, the placement body encouraged the candidate to wait until the KUCCPS launches another placement procedure.

“I have logged in but the status is still saying active, what might be the problem?” In a statement, the petitioner stated.

KCCPS announced on November 24 that it had launched its portal for pupils interested in joining the KMTC.

However, KUCCPS advised that only a limited number of spaces were available, and that the application window was only open for a limited time.

“KUCCPS invites applications from eligible and qualified secondary school graduates for placement to the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC),” the statement read in part.

How to Apply

KUCCPS has reserved a limited number of slots for students who failed to report after registering in the initial application process.

Upon reopening the application portal, the placement service has chosen not to disclose the specific number of available slots or the criteria that will be applied in selecting successful applicants.

How to Check

Access the Student Portal.

When requested, provide your information, including the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education index number, KCSE year, and password.

As an initial password, applicants should use their Birth Certificate Number or Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) Index Number.
