
TSC Re-Advertisement: Garissa, Wajir, and Mandera Counties
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is pleased to announce the re-advertisement for the recruitment of teachers on contractual terms of service.
There are a total of 88 vacant positions available in Garissa, Wajir, and Mandera Counties.
This article provides all the necessary information for interested candidates regarding eligibility, application process, and general guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for recruitment, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
i) Be a Kenyan citizen;
ii) Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission;
iii) For primary school positions, candidates must hold a P1 certificate, while a minimum of a Diploma in Education is required for secondary school positions.
Application Process
Interested and qualified candidates are required to submit their applications online through the Commission’s website, www.tsc.go.ke, or teachersonline.tsc.go.ke. The deadline for submitting applications is 2nd June 2023.

General Information
Candidates are advised to note the following:
i) The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines for the 2022/2023 Financial Year will apply;
ii) Successful candidates for primary school positions will be posted to serve in any school within the county where the post was advertised;
iii) Shortlisted candidates must provide original professional and academic certificates during the selection process;
iv) Candidates must not submit more than one Application for Employment Form. Multiple applications will result in disqualification;
v) Preference will be given to applicants who were previously employed by the Teachers Service Commission;
vi) Manual applications will not be accepted;
vii) Successful candidates for primary school positions will be assigned to any school within a given county;

Reporting Fraud
Any fraudulent activity should be immediately reported to the nearest TSC office or the Teachers Service Commission headquarters.

Additionally, reports can be submitted via email to dirstaffing@tsc.go.ke. It is advisable to report any fraudulent activity to the nearest police station as well.
