RE: KAKAMEGA COUNTY STUDENTS’ LEADERS / PREFECTS MENTORSHIP WORKSHOP, 2024
Musingu School, in collaboration with Oxford University Press, is delighted to invite you to the Kakamega County Students’ Leaders/Prefects Mentorship Workshop 2024, scheduled for Sunday, 17 March 2024, starting promptly at 9:00 a.m.
The workshop will feature seasoned mentors, leadership trainers, and education administrators, including Mr. Omondi Caleb – County Quality Assurance and Standards Officer Kakamega County (CQASO), Mr. Emmanuel Otieno (TSC SCD – Khwisero), among others. The focus areas include:
- The role and position of prefects in school management.
- Becoming an excellent and dependable prefect.
- Handling challenges faced by prefects.
- The do’s and don’ts as a prefect.
- Qualities of an effective prefect.
- Question and answer open forum.

NOTE TO ALL SCHOOLS:
- Present the top prefects, limited to ten (10) per set, at a fee of Kshs. 5,000/=.
- Each school can present as many sets as possible.
- At least one teacher to accompany students, preferably the Deputy Principal. A maximum of two teachers.
- Carry packed lunch for students (breakfast and lunch will be provided to the accompanying teachers).
- Each participant will receive stationeries and a certificate.
- Each school to pay Kshs. 5,000/- only per set of ten students for logistics, certificates, meals for two teachers, and stationery.
For planning purposes, kindly confirm your attendance through 0728701795 on or before Wednesday, 13th March 2024. Indicate the number of prefects per school and the accompanying teacher.
