Magoha Urge Politicians Not To Politicize KSCE Exams, Refutes Claims That He Is Always ‘Out Of Office.’
George Magoha refuted claims that he is always ‘out of office’ and all over the country, rather than driving education policies in office.
Prof Magoha also urged politicians to refrain from politicizing the ongoing examinations.
“There are those who are saying I am all over the place. I want to tell them that is not of their business. I will continue being all over the place ensuring we deliver credible examinations,” he said
Even though the President has given him the right to use helicopters, he has  chosen not to use them but reserve them to deliver examinations in security prone areas when the need arises.
“In volatile areas such as Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet, where there have been issues of insecurity recently, two helicopters have been put in place to ensure students are evacuated to safe centers in case of any hitches,” said the CS.
“Two helicopters are on standby to transfer students in troubled areas like Baringo to safe examination centers in case there is a need to do so,” said Magoha.

Basic Education and Early Learning Principal Secretary Julius Jwan praised the security team for putting in place proper measures in insecure areas, noting that over 12,000 candidates in Baringo took the exams at their respective schools in 176 locations.
“I appreciate the multi-agency team and education officials in Baringo County, who ensured that all KCPE learners in the border areas sat their exams last week despite the challenges.
It’s also encouraging that all Form Four candidates in border areas are taking their exams at their respective schools and have not been relocated due to insecurity,“ he added.
He reassured parents in this region that their children are safe because the govt has increased security in high-risk areas.
