To launch this tree-planting endeavor on a national scale, there will be a designated national venue where the event will be presided over by President William Ruto. Simultaneously, Cabinet Secretaries and Governors will lead tree-planting activities in all of Kenya’s 47 counties. This comprehensive approach ensures that the tree-planting effort is well-coordinated and extends to every corner of the country.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has also made a passionate appeal to all Kenyan citizens and the general public to actively participate in this national initiative.
