Form One Selection to conclude This Week – Machogu
Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has told parents and children who had recently received their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results that form-one selection is underway.
According to CS Machogu, Form 1 selection will be completed this week.
He informed parents that all students who took the exam would be placed in secondary schools and that the government would implement a 100% transition strategy to allow students to go from primary to secondary school.

Kitengela International School and Kisii’s Set Greenhill Academy Mixed and Boarding Junior School 2023 KCPE candidates sued Knec last month over the results.
The two filed a petition in the High Court, seeking an injunction to prevent KNEC and the Ministry of Education from conducting the Form One selection process until the petitions are considered and decided.
The parents challenged the results provided by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu, arguing that the grading method was flawed.
They claim that if the process proceeds as scheduled, the students will be denied justice and will miss their preferred secondary school if the review is favorable to them.
