CS Ezekiel Machogu Asks Education Officials to Share Information
Education officials are mandated by the Constitution to bridge the communication gap within its programs by sharing public information. Under Article 35 of the Constitution, every citizen holds the right to access information held by the State.
Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has emphasized the importance of sharing information to educate the public and stakeholders about the ministry’s initiatives.

CS Machogu urged education officials to disseminate information effectively across all levels of the country, stressing that it’s crucial for informing the public about developments in the education sector.
The Ministry of Education remains committed to enhancing access, equity, quality, and relevance across all levels of education while addressing contemporary issues in the sector.
CS Machogu reiterated the need for sharing information comprehensively, emphasizing its significance in ensuring transparency and accountability.
The government, despite fiscal constraints, has allocated significant funds to the education sector, with Sh67 billion allocated in January alone.
Machogu expressed concern over the lack of publicized government initiatives and fund disbursements at regional levels, urging education officials to rectify this by disseminating information widely.

He defended the president’s international trips, citing their potential to create opportunities for youth employment in online jobs.
