In collaboration with the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA), this scholarship opens doors for international applicants to immerse themselves in an innovative learning environment.

Program Details:
- Degree: Bachelor of Science in Conservation Agriculture
- Duration: 3 years
- Scholarship Type: Partial (50% coverage)
- Slots: 10 for nationals from eligible countries
- Fields of Study: Conservation Agriculture with specialization options
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify, applicants must meet specific criteria, including being a national of an East African Community (EAC) member state or the Republic of the Congo, demonstrating leadership qualities, and possessing English language proficiency.
Additionally, applicants should contribute to gender balance among students and not be older than 25 years at the time of application.

Scholarship Benefits:
Selected scholars will receive a 50% RICA partial scholarship, covering tuition, room, and meals while on campus. The student’s government will cover the remaining 50% (equivalent to $16,000), excluding travel expenses, stipends, and visa application fees.

Standard Application Forms are available at the Ministry of Education offices and can be downloaded from the Ministry’s website. Completed forms and necessary documents should be submitted to the Director of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education by March 12, 2024.
