St Antony Boys Hockey Team Turns Attention to East Africa School Games

Kevin Lugalia, the head coach of the St Antony Boys High School hockey team, has turned his attention to the East Africa School games that are set to take place in Rwanda in August.

The team has an extensive plan to prepare and defend their title, which they won last year. Lugalia is confident that they will retain the title and build a team that can reclaim the national title next year.

During the recent national final, St Antony lost to Musing High School 1-0, which Lugalia attributed to bad luck. Despite the loss, Lugalia was proud of his team’s performance and believes they played well.

“We know what to expect in the East Africa games having been there for many year we our aim is to retain the title and prepare a team that will reclaim the national title next year,” Lugalia told Citizen Digital.

He congratulated Musingu on their victory and promised that his team would come back stronger.

Lugalia believes that with a proper plan in place, St Antony will be able to retain their title at the upcoming games.

“We know what to expect from some of our familiar opponent and they know what to expect from us.”
