The University of Mississippi is offering undergraduate scholarships for international students seeking to study in the United States of America.
These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, and students can be eligible for up to four academic years towards their first bachelor’s degree.

The University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss, is a prestigious institution of higher learning with a history of producing leaders in various fields.
It has 16 academic divisions, including a medical school, schools of accountancy, law, and pharmacy, and an Honors College known for academic rigor, experiential learning, and opportunities for community action.
To be considered for the International Students Scholarships at the University of Mississippi, applicants must be classified as foreign students for tuition fee purposes, have obtained relevant certificates required for admission into a US institution of higher learning, demonstrate excellent academic and leadership abilities, be proficient in written and spoken English, and be available to begin the 2023-2024 academic session if successful.
Scholarships range from $23,454 to $3,900, covering tuition fees, accommodation, stipend, books, and health insurance.
They are generally credited towards non-resident fees and resident tuition fees and may be combined with other scholarships but cannot exceed the full non-resident fee or resident tuition.
They are non-deferrable and non-transferable, but renewable provided academic progression and grade requirements are met, and lawful presence in the USA is maintained.
Students may be awarded the scholarship for a total of four academic years towards their first bachelor’s degree only.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit official transcripts/degree certificates, English language proficiency scores, affidavit of financial support and official bank statement, and passport identification pages (if available) by mail.
Students who have completed at least ten transferable courses at the university level are not required to submit high school transcripts. They must also provide translations of their transcripts and diplomas if they are in languages other than English.
They must also submit official English language proficiency test scores and official SAT/ACT scores (only required for international students who graduate from high schools in the USA) directly by the Testing Center.
