PSC Publishes 8,610 Names of Interns Appointed for Government Jobs: How to Check
The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced on Tuesday the appointment of 8,610 Kenyans to serve in various ministries under its Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP).
The interns are the sixth batch to join the program. Kenyans can view the list on the commission’s website and the PSC job portal. Click here to check. The interns will be paid a stipend at a government-determined amount.
The Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) is a government youth empowerment initiative whose major goal is to provide college graduates with hands-on experience and skills to improve their chances of employment, networking, and entrepreneurship.

PSC extended the application time for approximately 8,000 interns to government ministries, departments, and agencies in August. The internship is for a period of 12 months and is non-renewable.
A candidate must achieve various standards in order to be appointed to an internship job, according to the commission. He or she must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
The candidate must have graduated no earlier than 2017 and be computer literate. They are expected to complete duties that have been mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisors.

He or she will also document important abilities obtained in their places of deployment.
They will also actively participate in any relevant mentorship activities and additional obligations assigned to them as part of the program.
“On successful completion of the internship programme, the interns will be awarded a certificate,” reads the advertisement.
