Identical Twins Placed In Same National School.
Identical twins from Bungoma DEB Primary School who scored 410 and 397 in the 2021 KCPE exam have been placed into the same national school.
Collins Simiyu Mukhwana and Joseph Simiyu Mulongo couldn’t contain their excitement when they found out they would both be attending Kabianga Boys High School.
Mukhwana had chosen Kapsabet Boys as his first choice for school, while Mulongo had chosen Friends School Kamusinga.
“We chose different schools but we are lucky to be placed in the same school,” said Mulongo.
“I’m really delighted because this is like a miracle. We had chosen different schools but seemingly God had a different plan. I am happy that I will get to experience high school life with my twin brother,” said Mukhwana.
He stated that he will work hard to fulfill his dream of attending Harvard University and majoring in architectural engineering.
“It will be an amazing experience to compete with my twin brother in the same school,” said Mulongo.
“It came as a shock at first because we did not expect to be called to the same school as we had different marks. This is a unique occurrence that gives us a reason to work even harder.”
Mulongo stated that after high school, he plans to attend Oxford University and pursue a career as a neurosurgeon.
Chrispinus Sakwa, the twins’ father, said he has another set of twins taking the KCPE exam in December at Bungoma DEB Primary School and is hoping for good results.
However, Sakwa expressed concern that paying school fees for four children in secondary school would be difficult.
He has asked well-wishers to provide scholarships for his children so that they can complete high school successfully.
