UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship Helps International Students from Low-Income Backgrounds Study in the UK
The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship is designed to support and encourage international students from low-income backgrounds to pursue full-time undergraduate degree studies at University College London (UCL).
The scholarship is available to students from any country outside of the UK who meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:
– Be eligible to pay the overseas fee rate;
– Come from a lower income background; and
– Have submitted an admission application for a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL in 2023/24.

Scholarship Value and Duration
In 2023/24, up to 30 scholarships will be awarded. There are 10 awards covering full tuition fees and maintenance, while 20 awards cover full tuition fees. The scholarship is tenable for the normal duration of the programme.
Application Process
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must first submit an application for a full-time undergraduate degree programme at UCL. Once their admission application is submitted, they can apply for the scholarship by accessing the online scholarship application form through their Portico account.
Candidates must log in to Portico and click on the “Funding” tab in the menu at the top of the page to find out which funds they are eligible to apply for. They must then click on the scholarship name of the scheme they wish to apply for and submit a separate scholarship application form for each programme they wish to apply for funding.
