Places Magoha’s Body Will Be Taken

The family of former Education Cabinet Secretary, George Magoha, announced that he will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 11.

The farewell procession for the late CS will take place on Wednesday, February 8, before his body is airlifted to his rural home in Yala for the burial.

The procession will start from Lee Funeral Home and make its way to several notable places that were significant in the late CS’s life.

The procession will first stop at the College of Health Sciences at Kenyatta Hospital, followed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council Headquarters, the Nigerian High Commissioner, and St Georges Primary School.

Other stops include the Kenya National Examination Council, State House Girls High School, the University of Nairobi’s graduation Square, and finally, it will end at Starehe Boys Center.

The former Principal Secretary of the State Department of Early Learning and Basic Education, Julius Jwan, spoke on behalf of the family and emphasized the importance of honoring the late CS’s legacy by visiting these places.

The late George Magoha was a respected figure in the Kenyan education sector and made a significant impact in the development of the country’s education system.

He will be remembered for his contributions to the sector and his commitment to improving the lives of Kenyans.
