Zetech University Students To Benefit From Internship Opportunities
Students at Zetech University will benefit from internship opportunities.
To ensure that students get such opportunities, the University plans to form a partnership with Standard Media Group by the end of July.
The Standard Group PLC Strategy and Innovation team paid a visit to the university and participated in an innovation challenge with the students.
Dr Alice Njuguna, Deputy Vice Chancellor-Academics, Research, Extension, and Student Affairs at Zetech University, stated that the university is committed to providing quality education.
‘’Our mission is to promote excellence in education and research by integrating innovation, and entrepreneurship to impact society,’’ said Dr Njuguna.
Dr. Njuguna welcomed the collaboration, noting that the media house will assist them in scaling up their innovations, among other benefits.
‘‘Our three-year renewable partnership will see us benefit from each other by adding value to the students,” said Dr Njuguna.
Mr Benedict Omollo, Chief Officer – Operations and Strategy at Standard Group PLC, stated that the partnership will enhance and bring to light innovations.
‘’We look forward also to partnering with other institutions of higher learning along the same line and Zetech is just one of them,’’ said Mr Omollo.
