INVITATION TO A WORKSHOP FOR BUSINESS STUDIES, AGRICULTURE, COMPUTER STUDIES AND HOME SCIENCE TEACHERS’ ON 23RD MARCH 2024

Capvim Publishers delightfully invites your school teachers to a one day workshop for Business Studies, Agriculture, Computer Studies and Home Science Teachers scheduled for 23rd March 2024 at Kitui Multipurpose Hall starting from 8.00 am. The training will focus on key areas including:

i. A review of KCSE 2023 and projections of KCSE 2024
ii. Test Setting, Marking & examining according to Current KCSE standards
iii. Integration of ICT in teaching and learning of technical subjects
iv. Effective Revision strategies & managing the syllabus with limited time

Developers/examiners

The training will utilize short lectures, demonstrations, and presentations by a team of senior test developers/examiners, authors, and subject experts including:

1. Mr. Peter Onanga – Snr Examiner, Author & Seasoned Facilitator, Business Studies, Alliance Girls’
2. Julia Munjiru – Examiner & seasoned facilitator, Home Science, HoD, Machakos Girls’
3. Nancy Muchira – ACE, Experienced Facilitator, Agriculture, Komothai Girls’, Kiambu
4. Mr. Kaindi Rick – ACE, Computer Studies, Teacher, Machakos School

The facilitators will also share insights into increasing enrolment and motivating learners to eliminate low grades. In an effort to maintain and improve the quality of teaching and the general performance in our schools, kindly facilitate your teachers to attend this noble workshop. Each subject will be in a different room.
