USIU Launches New Courses to Meet Global Market Demand.
To meet changing market demands, the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) has launched new undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate courses.
A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Science and Technology, an Online Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Information Science, a Bachelor of Global Leadership and Governance, and a Bachelor of Technology in Analytical Chemistry are among the courses available.
Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Analytics, Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Applied Biochemistry are some of the other options.
Prof Freida Brown, an interim Vice-Chancellor of USIU-Africa, stated that the investments and introduction of the courses are aimed at providing well-trained experts in research and information technology applications to the international job market.
“The world is now a global village, and USIU-Africa is actively revising and improving its academic delivery mission to guarantee our graduates a place in the global job market table,” she assured, adding that USIU-Africa had invested best in e-learning class and global teaching resources to deliver world-class courses locally.
Prof Brown stated in a press release sent to newsrooms that the University has invested heavily in course development, with programs that have already begun successfully and will be delivered using modern academic models, including online options.
“Our academic programmes are enriched by our international culture, local and international accreditation and global teaching standards that guarantee exciting learning experiences providing students with a valuable global education that propels them to the international stage,” she said.
Last year, USIU-Africa received approval from Kenya’s Commission for University Education (CUE) to launch new degree programs in contemporary technology and management sciences.

The new courses, she explained, have been designed to build a strong human resource base in Africa capable of contributing to the global science and technology space, as well as to produce graduates capable of competing in the competitive labor market.
USIU–Africa is a leading private university in Kenya and the African region, with over 70 nationalities studying in 30 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
