
University of Embu Ranked Best-Performing State Corporation; Top 10 List
The University of Embu has been ranked as the top-performing State Corporation in the recently released performance contracting report.
In the report, the University received a composite score of 1.7272, followed by the National Irrigation Authority, with a composite score of 1.7729.
Four public universities made it to the top ten, which has been attributed to implementing robust performance management structures with the support of senior management.
Kenyatta University Research, Referral, and Teaching Hospital, which received a composite score of 1.8555, is ranked third, followed by Tharaka University College, ranked fourth.
According to the report, Tharaka University College has a composite score of 1.9727.
The Water Resources Authority came in at number five with a composite score of 2.0515, followed by Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency with a score of 2.1180.
Kenya Industrial Estates came in seventh, followed by the University of Nairobi in eighth.
With a composite score of 2.2648, South Eastern Kenyan University was ranked ninth, and the Tourism Fund rose to number ten.
President William Ruto launched the report at the Kenya International Conference Center in Nairobi.
