KUCCPS will admit students to the 32 government primary teacher training colleges for the first time. These TTCs are open to KCSE candidates from 2021 and previous years, including non-citizens.
Candidates who took the KCSE between 2000 and 2021 and received a C (plain) or higher are eligible to apply for placement in the primary TTCs.
Furthermore, the three diploma-granting secondary TTCs – Kibabii, Lugari, and Kagumo – will admit students via KUCCPS under the Competency Based Curriculum system.
Prof Magoha encouraged students with C+ or higher in technical subjects to apply for these positions. Government sponsorship will be considered only for those who apply through the KUCCPS portal.
