UDA MP Samuel Arama Insults Parents Queuing for Bursaries, Calls Them Stupid [VIDEO]
Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama addressed a large gathering of parents outside his office seeking bursary forms.
In a video, the legislator expressed dismay at the crowd, emphasizing that the forms would be available until the end of February.

He accused the parents of idling due to joblessness, leading to the high demand for bursary forms.
Arama suggested uploading the forms on the county’s website for easier access, proposing a fee of Ksh20 per form to discourage unnecessary visits.
The MP then dispersed spectators and individuals not in the queue, including those with disabilities.
The bursary exercise aims to assist financially disadvantaged students in accessing education.

Recently, residents of Saboti sub-county in Trans Nzoia raised concerns about being required to produce identification cards for bursary eligibility.
Saboti MP Caleb Amisi supported this measure, stating that it ensures the funds benefit local students. Arama, known for previous controversies, faced criticism in July 2023 for threatening to shoot protesters in Nakuru.
He justified his actions by claiming to have voted for Raila Odinga and accused the protesters of causing property damage worth millions.
