TSC Vets 223,223 Teachers to Supervise and Invigilate Exams

The commission has vetted 223,223 teachers to serve as supervisors and invigilators, according to her.

In addition, 37,731 instructors will serve as examiners.

During the exam period, according to Macharia, all center administrators will be responsible for collecting the twice-daily exam papers.

She emphasized that center managers are responsible for ensuring the secure collection of both morning and afternoon session papers, with no compromises on any examination procedures.

Macharia announced that the TSC has dispatched 71,760 center managers. During the first week of October 2023, they will take part in subcounty briefing meetings held across the country by KNEC.

She clarified that neither the supervisor nor the invigilator from last year’s national examinations have been retained.

The CEO said that this is to assure the annual rotation of staff.

She stated that only center and deputy center managers will need to be present in school during the examination period.

She also expressed a commitment on behalf of the TSC, its staff, and teachers to provide full support to ensure the upcoming national examinations are a massive success.
