TSC Teaching Contractual Jobs in North Eastern; How to Apply

The Teachers Service Commission is advertising teaching vacancies in Garissa, Wajir, and Mandera Counties. There are 343 posts available, with 73 in primary schools and 270 in secondary schools. These vacancies are for teachers on contractual terms of service.

To qualify for recruitment, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

i) Be a Kenyan citizen;

ii) Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission;

iii) Must hold a P1 certificate for primary schools or a minimum of a Diploma in Education for secondary schools.

Applicants should submit their applications online through the Commission’s website, either under “Careers” or “teachersonline.tsc.go.ke”.

The deadline for submission is March 22, 2023. Details on available vacancies per county or school are available on the Commission’s website.

Note the following information:

i) The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines for the 2022/2023 Financial Year shall apply;

ii) TSC may post Successful candidates for primary schools to any school within the county with a post/slot;

iii) Shortlisted candidates will need to present original professional and academic certificates;

iv) Filling out more than one Application for Employment Form will lead to disqualification.

v) Teachers Service Commission will give preference to former TSC employees.

vi) TSC will only accept online Applications.

vii) TSC will post successful candidates who apply for primary school teaching positions to any school within a particular county.

viii) To apply visit the TSC website, www.tsc.go.ke, for comprehensive information regarding available vacancies in various counties and schools.

The Teachers Service Commission follows constitutional and legal requirements for equal employment opportunities, and encourages persons with disabilities to apply.

Teachers Service Commission cautions applicants that the recruitment process is free of charge and warns them to be wary of fraudsters who might request money for assistance with recruitment.

Applicants are advised to report any fraudulent activity to the nearest TSC office or the Teachers Service Commission headquarters through the provided telephone lines or email address.

Any fraudulent activity should also be reported to the nearest police station.
