Article 237, Section 1, of the Constitution designates the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) as a Constitutional Commission.
In accordance with the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers and in accordance with its responsibilities, the Commission invites applications from qualified teachers for the positions listed below.

- SNE Primary School T-Scale 10. – 30 Posts
- Hearing Impairment: 15 posts,
- Intellectual Disability: 10 posts,
- Autism: 1 post,
- Physical Impairment: 2 posts,
- Visual Impairment: 2 posts)
Qualifications for Appointment
To be considered for appointment to this position, a teacher should fulfill the following criteria:
i. Possess a minimum of three (3) years’ service experience as Deputy Head Teacher II in TSC Scale 9.
ii. Hold a Diploma in Special Needs Education relevant to the specified area of specialty.
iii. Maintain a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.
iv. Exhibit capabilities in supervising, mentoring, and providing professional guidance to fellow educators.
v. Fulfill the stipulations outlined in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
vi. Fulfill any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
Note: Candidates stationed in Arid and Semi-Arid Land (ASAL) as well as Hard-to-Staff counties, and who have served in the current grade for a minimum of two years, are eligible to apply.
