Requirements for Appointment
For consideration into this position, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ service as Principal/Deputy Principal I in T-Scale 13.
- Performance: A track record of obtaining a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise, mentor, and provide professional support to fellow teachers.
- Ethical Standing: Adherence to the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution, reflecting integrity, ethics, and accountability.
- Additional Criteria: Completion of any other requirements that the Commission deems necessary.
Special Consideration for Asal and Hard-to-Staff Counties
Candidates who have served in the current grade for a minimum of two years in Arid and Semi-arid (Asal) and hard-to-staff counties are eligible and encouraged to apply.
