A. Academic Qualification in P1 Certification
Candidates are assessed based on their PTE academic points, excluding teaching practice.
- 6 to 28 points: Awarded 5 marks
- 29 to 50 points: Awarded 3 marks
- 51 to 64 points: Awarded 2 marks
- Maximum Score: 5
B. Age Bracket Evaluation
Applicants are scored based on age, with older candidates receiving higher scores.
- 50 years and above: 20 marks
- 47 to 49 years: 15 marks
- 44 to 46 years: 10 marks
- 43 years and below: 5 marks
- Maximum Score: 20
C. Duration Since Teacher Qualification
The time elapsed since graduation directly impacts scoring. Candidates with earlier qualifications receive higher scores, reflecting long-standing patience in job searching.
- 2010 and earlier: 70 marks
- 2011 to 2024: Decreases by four points per year, down to 14 marks for 2024 graduates
- Maximum Score: 70
D. Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (CBC Upgrade)
Holders of the CBC upgrade diploma earn additional points:
