Article 237 (1) of the Constitution establishes the Teachers Service Commission as a Constitutional Commission.
In accordance with the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers, the Commission invites suitably qualified teachers to submit applications for the positions listed below.

Requirements for Appointment

1. Teaching Experience: Applicants should have served as Secondary School Teacher II under T-Scale 7 for a minimum period of three (3) years. This experience reflects your commitment to education and provides a strong foundation for the role of a Secondary teacher.
2. Performance Appraisal: A satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process showcases your dedication and effectiveness as an educator. Your contribution to students’ growth and development matters, and a positive appraisal reflects your proficiency in the field.
3. Additional Requirements: The Commission values well-rounded educators who can bring diverse skills and qualities to the classroom. Any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission will be considered, enhancing the overall quality of education imparted to students.

Special Consideration for Certain Regions: Candidates who have demonstrated their commitment by serving in Asal (Arid and Semi-Arid Lands) and Hard to Staff counties while holding the current grade for a minimum of 2 years are eligible for this opportunity.
