TSC Orders Field Officers on Leave to Return Ahead of National Examinations

The Teachers Service Commission’s chief executive officer (CEO), Nancy Macharia, has instructed all TSC field officers on leave to return to work in two weeks.

Macharia stated that the action is intended to support the 2023 National Examinations, which are scheduled to take place from October 19 to November 1.

Macharia stated that, in order to guarantee the successful completion of the final phase of preparations for the national examinations, all TSC field officers who are presently on leave must return to work on October 16, 2023.

“As part of our measures to ensure the last phase of the preparations for the national examinations are successful, all TSC field officers who are currently on leave must resume duty on October 16, 2023,” Macharia said.

The Teachers Service Commission Chief Executive Officer spoke on Monday at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) headquarters as the examination season began.
