The Teachers Service Commission (TSC), an independent body established under Article 237 of the Constitution of Kenya (2010), has announced 30 internship opportunities for the 2025–2026 financial year. This initiative aligns with the Government Internship Policy and Public Service Guidelines, aiming to equip young professionals with hands-on experience to enhance their skills and employability.
Internship Areas and Duration
The internships, which will run for a duration of twelve months, are offered in four professional areas. The distribution is as follows:
- Information Communication Technology (ICT): 5 positions
- Records Management: 10 positions
- Human Resource Management & Development: 13 positions
- Counselling: 2 positions
These internships will allow participants to gain relevant experience in a real working environment within the TSC framework.
Eligibility Criteria and Professional Requirements
Applicants are required to meet specific academic and professional qualifications:
- ICT: A Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Communication Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Technology, or any related field from a recognized institution.
