Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE):
- Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma certificate in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE).
- C(Plain) at KCSE or its equivalent at Senior School level.
- For candidates with disabilities, the minimum entry grade is C- (Minus) at KCSE.
Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE):
- Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma certificate in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE).
- C (Plain) in KCSE or equivalent at Senior School level, D plain in Mathematics, and C- in English.
- For candidates with disabilities, the minimum entry grade is C- (Minus) at KCSE.

Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education (DSTE):
- Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma certificate in Secondary Teacher Education (DSTE).
- C (Plain) in KCSE or equivalent at Senior School level.
- C+ (Plus) in two teaching subjects offered at secondary school level.
- C (Plain) in English, Kiswahili/Kenya sign language, and Mathematics.
- For candidates with disabilities, specific minimum entry grades apply.
Diploma in Technical Teacher Education (DTTE):
- Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma certificate in Technical Teacher Education (DTTE).
- C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent at Senior School level.
- C+ in related two STEM technical teaching subjects or Diploma in a General Technical subject at junior and senior school levels.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (Science)/ Bachelor of Science with Education (BSE):
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed.) (Science)/ Bachelor of Science with Education (BSE) Degree.
- C+ (Plus) or above at KCSE or its equivalent at senior school level.
- C+ (Plus) in two teaching subjects.
- C (Plain) in English and C (Plain) in Mathematics.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (Arts)/ Bachelor of Arts with Education (BAE):
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed.) (Arts)/ Bachelor of Arts with Education Degree (BAE).
- C+ (Plus) or above at KCSE or its equivalent at senior school level.
- C+ (Plus) in two teaching subjects.
- C (Plain) in English and D+(Plus) in Mathematics.

Diploma in Adult and Continuing Teacher Education (DACTE):
- Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma certificate in Adult and Continuing Teacher Education (DACTE).
- C Plain and above at KCSE or its equivalent at Senior School level.
- C- (Minus) for learners with special needs.
