Top Teachers and School Heads Honored by TSC on World Teachers’ Day [List].

Yesterday, Kenya celebrated World Teachers’ Day by recognizing teachers from institutions that excelled in last year’s national examinations.

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) acknowledged their exceptional performance and commitment to educating future generations.

Jackson Yebei from AIC Kaptich Primary School in Nandi County was the top educator on the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination.

The success of his school on the national exam last year is a testament to the efforts of both students and teachers.

Mr. Kiplimo received recognition for his dedication to academic excellence.

John Kanga of Masimbani Primary School in Kwale County and Emily Tanui of ACK St Luke Primary Biribiriet in Nandi County placed second and third, respectively, in the national competition.

Sammy Sawe from Bishop Muge Memorial Primary in Andi County and Amos Chumba from AIC Cheribisi School were awarded the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

In the secondary school category, Charles Onyari, principal of Nyambaria Boys, emerged as the top school leader in Kenya.

He was honored for his extraordinary leadership and dedication to providing quality education.

Albert Ombiro of Cardinal Otunga Boys and Linet Sati of Asumbi Girls placed second and third, respectively.

John Kuria of Mang’u High School and Simon Masibo of St. Antony’s Boys in Trans Nzoia took fourth and fifth place, respectively.

James Ireri of Kitengela International School in Machakos, Christopher Odero of Crystal Hill Academy in Kericho, and Geoffrey Mwangi of Kitengela International School in Kajiado emerged as the top three in the private schools category.

They were rewarded for their commitment to providing a nurturing and academically stimulating environment for their students.

John Muthiora from Strathmore School, Erick Toneni from Rockfields Senior School in Kajiado, and Elishebah Cheruiyot from Moi High School, Kabarak in Nakuru, received the most attention from private secondary institutions.

They were recognized for their unwavering dedication to academic excellence and character growth.

The Chief Executive Officer of the TSC, Nancy Macharia, stated that the commemoration of these educators would serve as an inspiration to all, and she emphasized the vital role teachers and school administrators play in shaping the future of the nation.
