It is critical for all teachers to understand how to check TSC online Pension status, especially those who have retired or are about to retire.
Furthermore, it is important to understand how TSC Pension is calculated online. Here’s how to check your TSC Pension status online in your mobile phone from the comfort of your office.
When to apply for a pension?
Individuals must be 55 or older and have worked in pensionable teaching employment on or after March 30, 2000, to be eligible for retirement benefits.
Early Retirement Benefits (AAB) are paid from the day after the last day of pensionable employment if you apply while still in service.
The mandate of the TSC Pension Scheme in Kenya is solely under the jurisdiction of the National Treasury. This is stated in the 2010 Constitution and the Public Management Act of 2012.
One of the key constitutional responsibilities of the National Treasury is to manage the pension schemes for retired government employees.
