Baragoi Boys High School has been used as a battleground between rival warring communities in the region on several occasions.
Since the early 2000s, the school’s performance has been hampered by endemic insecurity in Baragoi land, which has also resulted in a significant decrease in student enrollment as parents began withdrawing their children from the school out of fear for their children’s lives.
