Education Background:

An alumnus of the University of Nairobi, Hon. Machogu earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He completed his A-Level Certificate at Agoro Sare High School in 1975 and obtained his O-Level Certificate from Nduru High School in 1973.

Service in the Civil Service:

With decades of experience, Hon. Machogu made significant contributions to various ministries. He served as the Senior Deputy Secretary in the Ministries of Arid and Semi-Arid Lands, Trade and Tourism, and the Public Service Commission from 2002 to 2016. His administrative skills were evident during his tenure as the Deputy Provincial Commissioner of the Coast Province from 2001 to 2002.
