Students to Enjoy a 10-Week Holiday as Schools Reopen on January 8
According to the term dates published by the Ministry of Education on Friday, students in primary, secondary, and teacher training colleges will enjoy a 10-week break before classes resume early next year.
Schools are scheduled to close on October 27, 2023, in preparation for national examinations, and the ministry has now announced that the first term will resume on January 8, 2024.
This means that students will be at home for 72 days, a significant improvement over their two-week holiday at the end of Terms I and II.
