PSC, KURA Latest Job Opportunities; How to Apply.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA)have separately announced open hirings.
The two government agencies published separate notices on Tuesday, June 21 announcing a compounded vacancy count of 75 slots, of which KURA accounts for 45 and PSC is looking to fill 30.
From directors who need advanced university degrees to drivers who need KCSE certificates, KURA is looking to hire people in all job categories.
Engineers (18 positions), land surveyors, assistant office administrators, inspectors, and drivers are among the other positions that have been advertised.
On the other hand, PSC is looking for examiners in ten different fields, including, among others, public relations, office procedures, business calculations, accounts, and records management.
Three people are needed for each of the ten open positions.
How to Apply for KURA Positions
It is recommended that interested candidates visit kura.go.ke to access complete information about each open position and to download the application.
Once completed, the envelope must be delivered by hand to KURA’s JKIA office in Nairobi and placed specifically in the application boxes found in the East Wing’s first floor.
Candidates who meet the requirements should submit their applications in writing by downloading the mandatory KURA Job Application Form from the website, filling out all required fields, signing the form, adding a date, and submitting certified copies of their diplomas, transcripts, recommendations, curriculum vitae, and cover letters.
The notice instructed applicants to hand-deliver their completed application forms, a cover letter, and certified copies of the required documents in a sealed envelope with the appropriate job reference number clearly written on it. Before July 11, 2022, applications must be submitted.
Application Process for PSC Positions
It is advised that interested candidates send their emails to exams@publicservice.go.ke and address their applications to the PSC Secretary/CEO.
Candidates must have six years of experience in practice, research, or training in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in a pertinent field and professional certifications.
By July 22, 2022, all applications must be submitted in soft copy (PDF) format and should be no longer than three pages.
