Prioritise Use Of Technology In Curriculum, Ida Odinga urges schools.Mama Ida Odinga has emphasized the need of learning institutions prioritizing the use of technology in their curricula.She spoke in Nairobi after accepting a donation of 30 laptops for the Ida Odinga Library Project at Homa Bay County’s Ogande Girls High School.“Technology no longer represents the future. It is the present. Everything now revolves around the use of it,” Mrs Odinga said.“We have to prepare our students to embrace technology at an early age because all the challenges they face will be solved via technology."The computers were provided by the Kassanga family, which was overseen by family matriarch Martha Kassanga Mulwa.Among other things, the library will have an ICT hub, a recording studio, and conference facilities.Dr. Tom Musili, a representative of Computer of Schools Kenya, has committed to working with Mrs. Odinga to establish an ICT hub at Ogande Girls High School."This initiative will help empower the girls and the local community at large technologically.
