In a bizarre and unsettling incident, a prayer service for Form four candidates at Ngererit Secondary School in Bomet County took a shocking turn as a pastor and one of the female candidates mysteriously disappeared, leaving the entire gathering in turmoil.

The unexpected disappearance caused the service, which was meant to bring solace and encouragement to the students ahead of their national exams, to turn acrimonious and tense.

According to a police report filed at the Konoin Police Station, the suspect, who was identified as a pastor, was last spotted boarding a Boda boda motorcycle with the student at the Mogogosiek trading center.

After that moment, both the pastor and the young girl vanished into thin air while traveling along a dusty murram road, leaving no trace of their whereabouts.

Authorities were immediately alerted about the incident, and Leonard Ngugi, the Director of Education for Bomet County, confirmed that his department had informed the local Officer Commanding Station (OCS).

The matter was taken seriously, and the police initiated an investigation to track down the missing pastor and student.
