Governor Amos Nyaribo extended congratulations to the team for their expeditious assessment, emphasizing the anticipation within the Nyamira leadership and community regarding the inauguration of the university.
One of the primary prerequisites for the establishment of the university is the availability of spacious land, not less than 20 hectares, owned on freehold or leasehold terms of at least 45 years at the time of the grant of a letter of interim authority or constituent college. Additionally, the institution must possess a master plan guiding land use.
The residents of Nyamira eagerly await the establishment of their own institution of higher learning, recognizing the potential for multifaceted growth in academic, economic, infrastructure, and other developmental aspects. This initiative aims to cater to the diverse needs of individuals seeking services at the forthcoming institution of higher learning.
