National STEM (Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) Teachers Capacity Building Workshop – 24 May 2025.

Nakuru High School, in partnership with East African Educational Publishers (E.A.E.P), is organizing a one-day capacity building workshop for teachers of Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The event will take place on Saturday, 24th May 2025, at Nakuru High School from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Purpose and Key Topics
The primary aim of the workshop is to enhance teaching effectiveness and improve KCSE examination outcomes. Participants will benefit from the expertise of seasoned professionals, including senior educators, A.C.Es, and chief examiners, who will guide sessions on:
- A comprehensive review and breakdown of the 2024 KCSE examination trends, particularly in setting and marking.
- Strategies for timely syllabus completion and practical methods for tackling all examination papers.
- Identification of essential topics and development of smart, efficient revision techniques for the 2025 KCSE exams.
- Detailed guidance on revising and preparing students effectively for the upcoming national exams.
- Best practices for preparing students for science practicals, especially Paper 3.
Registration and Cost
Each attending teacher will be required to register with Kshs. 1500, which will cover certificates, meals, refreshments, stationery, and logistical support. The workshop will be officially inaugurated by the County Director of Education.

The circular has been routed through the Chief Principal and the County Director of Education, Nakuru County, and officially received by the concerned parties on 24th April 2025.
