MUSINGU SCHOOL SETS THE 2024 KCSE TARGET IN MOTION
As the academic journey for the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) kicks off, Musingu School, a renowned institution in Western Kenya, has set the bar high with its ambitious target of 8.07 and above.
On this auspicious day, February 15th, 2024, the event was marked by a vibrant and historic celebration, graced by Dr. Erick Opingo as the Chief Guest, signaling the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
With 418 candidates gearing up for the academic challenge, Mr. Bernard Toili Lukuya, the Chief Principal, expressed unwavering support for each student’s quest to reach their academic goals.

Standing by their side are 97 dedicated teaching staff and 75 support staff, all committed to guiding and supporting the students every step of the way.

Promising incentives, Mr. Lukuya pledged to reward the highest achiever with a memorable flight from Kisumu International Airport to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, followed by a lavish lunch at a prestigious 5-star hotel.
Mr. Lukuya went a step further in motivating the candidates by announcing a special incentive for exceptional performance—a flight for the candidate who achieves an A mean grade of 81-84 points, along with a luxurious lunch at a prestigious 5-star hotel. This promise added an extra layer of excitement and motivation among the students.
The Deputy Principal Administration, Mr. Alfred Mbati, commended the candidates for their exemplary discipline, noting the positive academic atmosphere they have cultivated within the school. He highlighted the remarkable absence of disciplinary issues involving the candidates, a testament to their dedication and focus.

“You have set the positive academic mood in the school as well as discipline standards. This will definitely be reflected in the results. Since we opened the school, The office of the Deputy Principal has not handled cases of indiscipline involving candidates. You will achieve.” Said Mr. Mbati.
Echoing these sentiments, Mr. Manyasi Bernard, the Deputy Principal Academics, lauded the students for prioritizing their studies and making the most of their time. Their commitment to both academic and extracurricular activities has undoubtedly set a standard of excellence within the school community.

In the preceding year, Musingu School showcased its prowess in both academic and co-curricular activities, making a profound impact within the Ikolomani Subcounty and beyond. With the collective efforts of students, teachers, and support staff, the school is poised for another successful academic year, driven by determination, discipline, and dedication.
