MKU To Provide Scholarships In Sports And The Arts.
Mount Kenya University has implemented a comprehensive plan to provide scholarships in sports and the arts in order to produce well-rounded graduates.
MKU Chairman Simon Gicharu made the remarks last week at the unveiling of a state-of-the-art tennis court at Thika Campus.
Gicharu stated that the institution plans to offer sports-related scholarships in addition to the existing traditional academic programs.
He also stated that the university would announce a partnership with a leading thespian and comedian to promote the arts.
According to Gicharu, games can help young people deal with the pressures of life that come from their studies, family backgrounds, and society.
