Man Arrested Trying To Defile 13-Year-Old School-Girl In Bush.
A man was arraigned at the Makindu Law courts for attempting to defile a 13-year-old girl in Changinywa village, Kikumbulyo location, Makueni county.
Peter Odongo had followed the minor to school on her bicycle yesterday morning, before grabbing her by the neck and dragging her to a nearby bush.
The suspect then attempted to take the girl’s innocence, despite her valiant efforts to keep him at bay.
Fortunately, the girl was able to fight off the man who had already soiled her loins and flee to her home, where she informed her mother of the incident.
Her distraught mother rushed her to Kibwezi Sub County Hospital, where she received the necessary medical attention.
Examinations were carried out in order to identify the suspect. Meanwhile, police officers, who were alerted to the incident by concerned neighbours, swung into action and apprehended the perpetrator at a nearby farm.
