Magoha Dares Teachers Who Want To Lose Jobs To Leak Exams.
“If you think you are clever, I dare you to go on and lie that you can leak the exams. We will deal with you. And for schools that will be caught cheating, we will punish the schools, the teachers, the children and the parents.”
CS Magoha stated that teachers who engage in examination malpractice will lose their jobs.
Magoha told the media on Monday that the Education Ministry will not let any teacher who is involved in examination malpractice go unpunished.
“We shall punish both students and teachers involved in the vice. Wait and see. It is not a joke anymore,” Magoha said.
He stated that teachers who are caught cheating during the examination period will face disciplinary action within the next two weeks.
“If you are bold enough, go ahead and try. There is a price you shall pay and it is not a very sweet price!” The CS said.
“It is a criminal offence to confuse a young star. Those who are bold and doing so by taking money from these people must be prepared to face the consequences,” Magoha said.

He claimed that some teachers were caught using cell phones.
“You can try and we shall catch you and in less than two weeks, you will lose your job.”
This year, approximately 1.2 million candidates took the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams.
The tests began on March 7 and ended on March 9.
