KUCCPS Starts University Placements For 2021 Students; How To Apply
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the application window for 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates to apply for placement or revise their course selections.
All applications and revisions must be submitted online, according to KUCCPS, and candidates must adhere to the June 2 application deadline.
Upon receipt of their applications, KUCCPS will review them and place them in the universities or colleges of their choice, taking into account regional balance, performance, and space availability in the selected institutions.
On Friday, May 20, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha directed KUCCPS to open its portal to allow students ample time to submit their applications, stating that those with a C+ or higher will be placed in universities.
“All the 144,466 Kenyans with C+ and above who sat the 2021 KCSE examination are eligible to apply for degree programmes in the 70 universities,” the Education CS stated.
CS Magoha advised 2021 KCSE candidates with a mean grade of C (plain) or lower to consider applying for courses at TVET institutions and Teacher Training Colleges (TTCS).
