The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has launched the third and final revision of university courses for KCSE candidates in 2021/2022.

According to a notice obtained by teachersupdates.co.ke, the exercise will begin on Tuesday, June 14, and will last three days, ending on Friday, June 17.

KUCCPS advised candidates to log in to the students portal on the dashboard to check the status of their placement.

“Look for your KCSE Index number in the Third Revision List 2022. If your KCSE Index Number is in the list, it means you have not secured any of the courses you chose at Second Revision.

"Please, log in to the Student’s Portal and choose other courses before June 17, 2022,” Wahome stated.

She went on to say that the exercise was aimed at applicants who did not get a course after the first and second revision exercises.

Furthermore, those who have yet to apply are given a final chance to be sponsored by the government.

The notice emphasized the significance of the final revision timeline, urging Form Four graduates not to pass up the opportunity.

“With any KCSE grade, you have an opportunity to pursue a course of your choice under government sponsorship.”

How to Review:

Wahome announced that 137,072 out of 826,807 candidates were placed in TVETs for the 2021/22 cycle.

In a previous media interview, the KUCCPS director advocated for institutions to collaborate with students to guide them on when to report based on their academic calendars.

“We do not dictate to them when the students should report. Once we place, we encourage the institutions to agree with the students on when to report, based on the available resources.

"We also encourage them to introduce open, distance and e-learning (ODEL) and blended learning where possible,” she noted.
