KUCCPS 2024 Course Application: How to Navigate Portal Despite Access Challenges
To begin, access the KUCCPS application portal by either directly visiting students.kuccps.net or searching for “KUCCPS Students Portal” on your preferred search engine, such as Google. Click the link labeled “Student Login.”
Upon reaching the login page, input the applicant’s KCSE Index Number without a stroke (/), the KCSE Year, and a password. The password should be either the Applicant’s Birth Certificate Number (Entry Number) or KCPE Index Number.

If these credentials do not grant access, attempt the Birth Certificate Serial Number (the one at the top). If access remains unsuccessful, contact KUCCPS through 0205137400 / 0723954927 or seek assistance from any KUCCPS support center or Huduma Centre.
Once logged in, navigate to the “Programme Lists” tab located on the menu bar at the top of the page. Here, you will find various documents including KMTC Programmes, Degree Cluster Document, Degree Programmes, Diploma Programmes, Certificate Programmes, and Artisan Programmes.
Select the document relevant to your desired programmes or institutions. Each document will download separately as a PDF file. Review the downloaded document for available programmes, programme codes, previous cut-off points, and other pertinent information. Make note of the Programme Codes for all the courses you wish to apply for before proceeding.
Returning to the portal, click on “Application/Revision” on the menu bar. Depending on your desired level of study (e.g., Degree only, Degree and Diploma, etc.), you may encounter one or two forms for submitting programme codes. Input the programme codes you noted earlier into the relevant form.

Note that you will be unable to copy and paste the programme codes to minimize errors. As you input the codes, the system will initiate processes to fetch data and check requirements. Allow these processes to complete before submitting. Once completed, the system will display the name of each programme under the respective codes and indicate if you meet the minimum requirements.
After confirming all programme data, click “SUBMIT.” A pop-up box will appear with payment instructions. Click “HERE” within the pop-up message to proceed with payment. This action will open a payment page in a new tab. Choose your preferred payment method and follow the provided instructions.
For the M-Pesa Option, follow the steps outlined for payment through the Government e-Citizen Paybill Number 222222. Enter the provided account number and pay the indicated amount (Ksh1,500). Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation SMS from M-Pesa.
Return to the application window and input the account number into the slot labeled “Payment REF,” then click “SUBMIT.” Ensure that you do not use the M-Pesa transaction code but the provided Account Number. Allow the system a few moments to display a notification confirming the successful application.

Should a mistake occur, repeat the process without making an additional payment. Instead, re-enter the account number from the previous payment and submit.
