KSSSA National Football Games Begin in Kakamega County; Pools & Schedule
This week, the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) National Football Games will begin in Kakamega County on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
The tournament’s organizers have released the pools for both the boys’ and girls’ competitions, setting the stage for a fierce conflict between the best high school teams.
Boys’ category
In the Boys’ division, Pool A features four formidable champions: North Eastern Champions Khorof Harar, Nyanza Champions Agoro Sare, Western Region Champions Shanderema, and Centra Champions Kirangari.
Pool B, which is equally competitive, features teams such as Rift Valley Champions St. Anthony Kitale, Nairobi’s top squad Dagoretti, Eastern’s representative Matiliku, and Coast Champions Serani.
KSSSA Girls Pools
The Girl’s division also promises excitement. Pool A features the Western Champions, Butere Girls, competing against the Central Champions, Njabini, and the formidable representatives of Nairobi, Dagoretti Mixed.
Coast Champions, Kombani, are included as well. In Pool B of the Girls’ division, the Western Region Runners-Up, Madira, are determined to create a name for themselves.
Eastern’s rivals, Girls Mbitini, and Rift Valley’s champions, Wiyeta Girls, compete on the same field as Nyanza’s champions, Lwak Girls.
