KRA Announces Job Opportunities for D+ Holders with a Salary of Ksh 53,500; How to Apply.

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced job opportunities for individuals in Kenya. The authority is looking to hire D+ holders, with a gross salary of up to Ksh53,500 for the position of Revenue Service Assistant.

The job requires candidates to monitor the issuance of e-TIMS receipts by traders, engage with customers who purchase items from VAT-registered taxpayers or excisable items to ensure compliance, and monitor compliance with excise regulations.

How to Apply

To apply for the job, candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old and must submit their applications online via the provided application guidelines before Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Applicants must register on the KRA e-recruitment portal through erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login, where they will receive an email to confirm their email address and complete the registration.

Candidates should update their Candidate Profile with relevant information and click on the Overview and Release tab.

After viewing the open job postings, candidates should select the Job Search tab, click on the Apply button for the position they are interested in, and fill in the mandatory fields.

Once the application is complete, candidates should click the Send Application Now button after reviewing and accepting the Data Privacy Statement.

Applicants must possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct, copies of the KRA Pin certificate, NHIF, NSSF, and ID cards. KRA is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

The authority does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process, and those who had applied in the earlier advertisement need not re-apply.

The successful candidates will have the responsibility of preparing weekly and monthly reports on ongoing cases, issuing seizure notices for impounded goods for excise, and verifying tax receipts issued by traders/taxpayers.
