KNUT Bomet and Kiambu Branch By-Election: Open Positions

Bomet Branch By-Election:

The Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) Bomet Branch is undergoing significant changes as the Executive Secretary position has become vacant following the elevation of former Executive Secretary Bro Joseph Malel Langat to the position of First Vice National Chairman during the 63rd Annual Delegates Conference.

Moreover, the Assistant Executive Secretary post is now considered vacant after the current holder, Paul Kiprono Sang, expressed interest in the Executive Secretary position. The Chairman’s position remains vacant after the sad demise of Joseph Kimutai Cheruiyot.

Five Key Positions to Be Filled:

The upcoming by-election at KNUT Bomet Branch will be instrumental in filling five crucial positions:

1. Chairman
2. Executive Secretary
3. Assistant Executive Secretary
4. Assistant Treasurer
5. BEC Bomet Central

Aspiring candidates for the aforementioned positions are required to attend the nomination process on Friday, March 22, 2024, starting from 2:00 PM at St. Michael Secondary School. Candidates are expected to bring their proposers and seconders.

By-Election Information:

The KNUT Bomet Branch By-election is scheduled to take place at St. Michael Secondary School on March 23, 2024.

All members are urged to bring their identification cards and the most recent pay slips for the vetting process, which will commence at 9:00 AM. Kiambu East Branch By-Elections:

The KNUT Kiambu East branch will hold its Annual General Meeting and by-elections on 23rd March 2024 at Kiambu Primary School, starting at 8 am.
