KNEC Dismisses Alleged Changes to 2023 KCSE Results Release Date
In recent days, there has been circulating information regarding purported changes to the release date of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam results by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). However, it is important to note that KNEC has officially flagged this news as fake.
The flagged information suggests that KNEC made alterations to the release date of the 2023 KCSE results in response to glitches experienced during the transmission of the KCPE results.

Contrary to the circulated information, KNEC asserts that there have been no changes to the release date of the 2023 KCSE results. The marking of the exams commenced on 27th November 2023 in various designated marking centers.
Moreover, the claim that the KCSE results will not be available through Short Messaging Service (SMS) due to glitches witnessed during the transmission of KCPE results is inaccurate. KNEC has not made any such announcement.
